John is no stranger to St. Catharines and the Niagara Region having directed numerous productions for Garden City Productions including Monty Python’s Spamalot, Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, Joseph, Fiddler on the Roof, and Cabaret, and most recently Norm Foster’s The Last Resort at Firehall Theatre in Niagara Falls.
He has worked at theatres across the country as a marketing and communications specialist including the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company, Huron Country Playhouse, Theatre Aquarius, and Blyth Festival, as well as with the Niagara Symphony Orchestra. From 2018 to 2022 he was the Artistic Director of Sudbury Theatre Centre.
