Emerging and established Canadian playwrights submit their new scripts for consideration. Three new Canadian scripts are selected each year and professionally performed and directed in public readings over a single weekend. The fourth, Every Little Thing by Emily Oriold, will receive a staged reading with sound and costume pieces as the second phase of development for this new Canadian work.

Come see what’s brewing at the world premiere of The Bean in Norm’s latest comic spin on Man meets Woman. Dennis goes to his favourite local coffee shop, The Bean, every day after he drops his daughter at school. Cheryl has just started a new job at the law firm across the street. Monday to Friday they run into each other. As chat turns to revelation an unlikely friendship begins to percolate.
