Sheila McCarthy

Sheila McCarthy is one of Canada’s most honoured actors, having won to Genie Awards (film), two Gemini Awards (television), and two Dora Awards (theatre) along with multiple nominations.


In addition to starring as Sarah Hamoudi in the Canadian television hit series Little Mosque on the Prairie, she as appeared in:

  • Die Hard 2
  • The Day After Tomorrow
  • Being Julia
  • Orphan Black


She most recently directed and choreographed Sweet Charity at Sheridan College and her first short film Russet Season for TIFF 2016.
